Policy Ski & Snowboard School Courmayeur
- Lessons take place in any weather condition and are refunded or rescheduled only in case of full closure of the ski lifts.
If it is not possible to find an alternative date, the Ski and Snowboard School Courmayeur will issue a credit voucher valid during the ongoing winter season.
The meeting point with the instructor is always at the school headquarters in Plan Checrouit, unless otherwise agreedby the Secretariat.
- The booking confirmation is provided with the total and upfront payment of the requested lessons.
- The skipass and equipment are not included in the price of the lesson.
- Wearing a helmet is mandatory for all skiers, regardless of age, throughout Italian territory (Law 119/2025, effective from 10 August 2025).
- As of January 1st, 2022, it is mandatory to hold an insurance policy covering third-party liability (Legislative Decree 40/2021).

- Group lessons consist of 3 to 7 participants; small group lessons consist of 3 to 5 participants.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the lesson value will be converted into private lesson hours, according to availability.
- Groups are divided according to the technical level declared at booking.
If the declared level is incorrect, the School will look for a place in a group of the correct level, subject to availability.
If groups are full or no suitable group exists, lessons will be refunded or, where possible, converted into private lessons (which may be scheduled at different times than group/small-group classes).
Withdrawal and Cancellation
- If unable to attend, the Courmayeur Ski and Snowboard School, if notified between 20 and 4 days prior to the start of the lessons, will re-list the booked hours for sale.Any amount recovered from the resale will be credited to the client’s account with the School and may be used to purchase other lessons during the same winter season. Alternatively, the client may request a refund equal to 80% of the lesson value, which will be processed within 10 working days from the date of resale.
- For withdrawals made 3 days or less before the start of the lessons, no refund will be issued, except for reasons attributable to the School or the Instructor.
- Refund transaction fees (bank transfers, etc.) will be charged to the client.
- Missed lessons are non-refundable. We therefore recommend the SKI LESSON REFUND insurance, offered by the Secretariat of the Ski and Snowboard School Courmayeur, which covers the cost of lessons in case of illness, injury, or other causes of force majeure.
- The insurance can only be purchased at the time of booking and payment of the lesson or course, and cannot be purchased afterwards under any circumstance.
- We also recommend the SNOW CARE insurance with the skipass, which covers first aid expenses in case of injury.
